ARABIC 5 AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF OPTIMISM AND PESSIMISM IN THE LITERATURE OF JIBRAN KHALIL JIBRAN (AN ANALYTICAL STUDY)

Abstract

Optimism and pessimism are two major terms used to reflect the attitude of a writer in his work which also deeply affect his readers. On the basis of the above approaches, these are called either optimistic or pessimistic approach. In this article approach and behavior of famous writer Jibran Khalil Jibran in his Arabic Books is thoroughly  examined regarding optimism and pessimism that whether his approach inclines towards positivity to be called optimistic or it tends towards bleakness to be called pessimistic .It is observed that Jibran Khalil Jibran utilized the both methods in his Arabic books very skillfully according to the situation like other varieties of writing. However generally his approach is optimistic and he brings the brighter side of the situation to encourage and make his reader positive and energetic to stay and fight against odd stuff that he faces and does not cease resistance and never give up in life.
