The Islamic Scholars have taken care of the Holy Qur’an, whether in its interpretation, its context, or the various sciences related to it. Among others, Mulla Ali al-Qari al-Harawi, who devoted himself to the service of the knowledge of the Qur’an and compiled valuable books, including his exegesis called Anwar al-Qur’an and Secrets of the Qur’an. In this article, we made our humble effort by presenting Mulla Ali al-Qari al-Harawi’s interpretation and explaining his method in this interpretation so that the reader could reach an evaluation of this interpretation, and this is the main objective of this study. In this study, we analyzed the approach of Mulla Ali Al-Qari in his interpretation of the lights of the Qur’an and the secrets of Al-Furqan by tracing what Al-Mulla took in this interpretation in its various aspects, in addition to the critical approach that depends on discussing holy text and clarifying what is true from what is invalid. Al-Mulla Ali Al-Qari approached his interpretation of a verbal approach in accordance with the method of the people of knowledge, and this is distinguished by its interpretation from many aspects, including that it is a Quranic university that combines the verity of interpretation of the Qur’an, regardless of some of the negative aspects of this interpretation, it has many advantages that replaced it from the basic references in the science of interpretation. The search was organized after an introduction and preface in four sections. The first topic: his tendency in the interpretation of the devil text. The second: his concern for interpretation by opinion. The third: His interest in the sciences of the Qur’an. And the fourth: its interpretation in the balance.
