Abstract

The primary aim of this paper is to highlight the literary role and contribution of Dr. Jameel Jalbi.   Literature has played an important role in human intellectuality and there are very few people who are recognized as great scholars, historians, and critics. Although research is a tough task, especially regarding personality, therefore, very few names worked and inspired through their work due to their classical literary role and taste. Dr. Jameel Jalbi is also considered one of them. He is well known Urdu scholar, important historian, researcher, and critic of the Sub-continent.  In academia as a researcher, he also had a distinction, and his research work is measured to the highest standard in the literature. His literary contribution is marvelous. This paper also deals with the literary work and contribution of Dr. Jameel Jalbi as a historian, researcher, and critic as he is considered one of the prominent figures of Urdu literature.
