Abstract

Sayyad Qutb is a personality who has influenced many through his views and ideologies. He was an Egyptian author, educator, Islamic theorist, poet and leading member of Muslim Brotherhood. He has written many articles, novels, literary arts critique and works on education. He is best known in the Muslim world for his work on what he believed to be the social and political role of Islam. This study aims to focus on his life and important aspects of his works. First section will discuss his life in summarized way whereas the second section deals with his works.
