Abstract

The Environment is the place where our fathers and ancestors lived, and our children and future generation will live and it is a trust in our hands to protect it for the sake of its safety and future generations. It is very unfortunate that the human being is getting tired with this environment through the activities and practices on a daily basis at national and international level through armament and industrial programs. Nowadays, mankind is facing great suffering, as a result of man’s influence on the nature surrounding him. He left his mark on the globe, including air, forests, sea and ocean. This intervention has a direct bad impact on the environment. We, as Muslims, must offer the solution that set our true religion Islam based on Quran and Sunnah to make mankind happy in this world and the hereafter. Undoubtedly, the interest in the educational dimension in the field of environmental awareness, which we miss these days, represents an advanced step in the way of civilizing and educating the nation of Islam. This research illustrates the main concepts of environmental education, its significance, objectives and foundations.
